A 650′ pathway through this property features many native variety plants. As you stroll along these pathways, you will pass through the old garden gate leading you to The Family Pet Memorial garden as well as a Meditation Nook with a small stone bench.
The stairway will lead you down to the cedar bridge that spans the rain Garden where Cardinal Flower, Horse Tail and Bears Breeches have been planted. Another stairway will take you up to the main house, passing through the arbor that is laced with fragrance in summer.
Along the way you will find places to sit and reflect on the beautiful gardens. Hosta, Huchera and many varieties of fern including cinnamon Fern are planted along the pathways. Clethra, Woodland Anise and oak leaf hydrangea all have their special locations in the Lipscomb Garden.
